Introduces evolutional theory and explores evolutionary causes of health and disease. Considers how natural selection and the legacies of our human, primate, and deeper ancestries have shaped our biology. Topics include mental disorders, aging, cancer, diet, obesity, diabetes, infectious diseases, racism, and health differences between human groups. Course overlaps with: BIO A 355/BIOL 385.
