The application of luminescence dating to prehistoric ceramics in eastern Taiwan

Eastern Taiwan has a significant amount of archaeological sites. Some of the sites yield the dating from radiocarbon dating method. However, other than those sites with charcoal or organic remains unearthed, the dating for most of the sites remains blurred. This study seeks to fill this gap by utilizing luminescence dating (TL and OSL) to the ceramic samples from varies sites with different presumed time periods.
