Biography
My main interest is the development of new computational methods that will hopefully enable us to understand better past landscapes: the significance of certain places; how people may have constructed certain perceptions; how landscape changed and how those changes may be related to changes in social and economic terms, and more subtle experiential, symbolic and ritual ones. Most of this work is inspired in current interpretative approaches to landscapes.
