Congratulations to the Peggy Yeager Award for Teaching Excellence awardees: Hollis Miller, Gayoung Park and Rodrigo Solinis-Casparius. The Annual Yeager Award talk took place on Friday, May 24, 2019, entitled "Island Hopping in the Moluccas, past and present” and was given by Peter Lape, Paloma Sanchez and Sven Haakanson. It was a fun presentation on their recent boat tour through a set of small, remote Indonesian islands this past Spring in search of future community archaeology projects.
We could not be more pleased that Melissa Yeager continues her mother Peggy’s legacy of assistance to our students. Peggy’s interest in archaeology inspired her to found the endowment that bears her name in 2008. Thanks to the entire Yeager family for their continued support.
