Biography
I am a Seattle native and I graduated from UW in 2018 with as a double major in Anthropology (honors) and Spanish, with a minor in Human Rights. My anthropology studies focused on concepts of citizenship, social movements, and the intersection of immigration policies and biopolitics, with training in ethnographic research methodologies. I am currently a second-year student at the UW School of Law (right across Memorial Way from Denny Hall!). I understand that my pursuit of a career as an attorney may not make me the typical anthropologist, but I would love to connect with anthropology students interested in the law, a legal career, or an anthropology career with emphasis on legal and political systems, social movements, and access to justice.
