The Seattle Repertory Theatre recently sponsored a reading of "The Last Best Place,” a theatrical documentary based on Sara Breslow's dissertation research on social conflict surrounding salmon habitat restoration and farmland preservation in Washington State's Skagit Valley. Sara, a doctoral candidate in environmental anthropology, wrote the play in collaboration with theatre artist Todd Jefferson Moore.
