Syllabus Description:

The title of this course is: "Oceanic Research Methods: The Culture of the Canoe." Students will use Oceanic research methods and ethics to conduct both individual and group research about Oceanic canoes, including boat building, sail weaving, navigation, dance, chants, proverbs, storytelling, and boat names/language. Students will prepare group or individual research for the UW Undergraduate Research Symposium.
